Are you a decision maker? Do you lead a team of highly trained professionals? Are you a strategic planning facilitator? No matter who you are, what you do and how you do it, your life has changed.
Not only your routine, schedule, and plans, but also your outlook, mentality, and accessibility. Maybe this change is for the short term or maybe for good. And no matter what you do, you cannot alter the circumstance or ignore the situation. No matter how much power, influence, money, or resources you have, life as we know it has changed.
An invisible, silent, and possibly lethal adversary has reared its ugly head, wreaking havoc on the global economy, bringing giants down to their knees, modifying our perspective on everything. Life has been taken over. And no matter the initial resistance, everyone has had to stand up and pay attention.
if you have that great idea. If you think you can contribute in anyway. If you want to make a difference, now is the time to reach out and be heard by Business Leaders everywhere.
Planned and scheduled meetings cancelled. Offices, meeting rooms and board rooms locked. A simple handshake or pat on the back could potentially have lethal consequences. What would have been essential, irreplaceable, and indispensable in business/ social environment has now been deemed irrelevant and counterproductive. Humanity has taken over.
Laws, rules, procedures, and processes have taken a back seat as we try to make sense of the situation. People have opened their minds to alternative ways of making things work. The irony of it all is that while we try to avoid physical contact, we welcome more human interaction.
Business Leaders are willing to listen. They are willing to compromise. They are willing to go the extra mile. They are willing to extend a helping hand. People who would otherwise be unreachable, too busy, or over extended are now accessible albeit over electronic communications.
Significance is being given to the environment, to health, to life and to the future. People are remembering what it was like to stay home. And while it may not bode well for the economic sector currently, it is paving way for a better humanised conscientious way of working. SO, if you have that great idea. If you think you can contribute in anyway. If you want to make a difference, now is the time to reach out and be heard by Business Leaders everywhere.
